Sauna is a place to rest... It is a way to peace your mind and keep your body in a perfect shape.

Saunas have been used for thousands of years in Finland, they have now used all over the world.

Using saunas has a whole array of health benefits. First of all, the heat improves circulation, which relaxes body’s muscles and soothe aches in both muscles and joints. It can reduce risk of cardiovascular disease. Moreover, sauna bathing is one of the best ways of flushing toxins from one’s body, which gives the skin a softer-looking quality. It can also help the body and mind adapt to stress and reduce the risk of depression and other mental disorders.


We invite you to visit our sauna in Villa Skomanda:

  • an outdoor wood-burning sauna
  • it can hold up to 10 people
  • a dry sauna (optional with steam), also with aromatherapy
  • an outside cold water shower
  • inside a shower cabin with hot water /additionaly paid/
  • next to the sauna, there is barbeque sheltered area with tables and benches
  • access to toilets in Villa Skomanda building

Practise sauna safely:

  • take a quick shower prior to using the sauna,
  • cool down gradually afterward – take hot and then cold shower, rest for at least 30 minutes and remember to drink 2 to 4 glasses of cool water,
  • repeat the session max. 3 times,
  • use the sauna once, max. twice a week,
  • do not overdo it – 8 to 15 minutes of a sauna is a reasonable time limit
  • avoid alcohol before or after sauna,
  • do not take a sauna if you are ill or pregnant  .
